There are many reasons for this campaign as there are so many vulnerable communities in need of SA RED CROSS SOCIETY WC’s help and assistance. This assistance is orientated around our motto of ‘Always needed, always there’ and too this end is available 24/7 to help, uplift and transform lives.

Thousands depend on us for feeding every week as in the elderly and the EDC’s whilst other communities call THE Red Cross out for humanitarian disasters. These can be fires, storms or floods and we go in with medical supplies, food, water, sanitary products. All of these cost money and again, just one of the reasons for the earnest appeal behind this campaign.

The SA Red Cross WC are busy with HIV/AIDS & TB programs - all needing desperate funding and attention. Also busy with fighting GBV and finding sponsors for a robust youth plan – for the ones at risk of becoming on the other side of the law. The proposal is holistic and caters for various stages with them all pointing towards giving these youth the hope of a better tomorrow.

We urge you then to quite simply ‘HELP US, HELP OTHERS’ in a comprehensive and all-encompassing manner that the SA RED CROSS SOCIETY WC is known for. Please think of donating whatever can be afforded, collectively – we will overcome and this means that with your funding combined with the force of the SA RED CROSS SOCIETY WC -the many communities in need can be attended to with the urgency required.
